Listings built to rank and convert

A listing has two jobs and most only do one. Keyword-stuffed copy ranks and then loses the sale; beautiful brand copy converts the handful of people who ever find it. The work is making one page do both without either half getting in the way.

Research first, writing second

Every listing starts with what shoppers actually type. Search-term reports from your own account, competitor gap analysis, and Brand Analytics data give a keyword set that reflects real demand rather than a tool’s volume estimate. Terms get grouped by intent, then priced by how hard they are to win.

Only then does the copy get written. The title carries the terms that must rank; the bullets answer objections in the order a buyer thinks of them; the backend catches spelling variants and long tail. Afterwards I verify indexing term by term, because a keyword you are not indexed for is not a keyword.

Keyword research with a source

Built from your search-term reports, competitor listings and Brand Analytics — every term traceable to a reason it is there.

Copy that answers objections

Bullets ordered by what stops a buyer, not by what the product spec sheet lists first. Written for scanning on a phone.

Backend and attribute hygiene

Search terms, subject matter, item type keyword and browse node checked — the fields that decide where you can rank at all.

Indexing verified

After publishing, each priority term is tested. If a term did not take, it gets fixed rather than assumed.

The details that usually get skipped

  • Category style guidelines respected — no listings suppressed by an over-long title
  • Compliance-sensitive claims reviewed before they trigger a policy flag
  • Competitor gap analysis so you can see what you are not being found for
  • Copy tested for readability on mobile, where most of your buyers are
  • Search-term data handed over in a sheet you keep, whether or not we keep working together
Common questions

Indexing is immediate; ranking takes time. Expect early movement in two to four weeks and a fair read at 60 to 90 days, since Amazon needs conversion data at the new position before it commits.

Either. For a catalogue I usually start with the SKUs carrying most of the revenue, prove the approach there, then roll it out.

Yes — send existing copy, brand guidelines or your own site and the listing will sound like you, just structured for how people read on Amazon.
